At Smuttynose, tours and tastings are offered Fridays at three PM and Saturdays at 11:00 AM.

with a trip to our sister company, the Portsmouth Brewery, New Hampshire’s original brewpub, located in downtown
Portsmouth, less than five miles away.
If you will be bringing your children with you as you tour Smuttynose, please keep them with you at all times. We’ve got fittings, hoses, puddles, cleaning chemicals, hot things, cold things and heavy machinery. These are all interesting things but we’d much rather tell you about them than have you experience them first hand. You’re better off experiencing the final product – Smuttynose beer (unless of course you are a child).
Take Interstate 95 to New Hampshire Exit 3 ~ Greenland Exit ~ (If you're southbound, that's Exit 3B). Follow Route 33 west (towards Greenland/Stratham) for about a mile, to the second traffic signal. (Look for the Travelport Truckstop on your left). Turn left on Ocean Road. Follow Ocean Road to Banfield Road (9/10 mile). Turn left on Banfield Rd. Turn right on Heritage Avenue (immediately past stop sign and RR tracks). Go 1/2 mile ~ we're on the right.

From downtown Portsmouth, take US Route One south to Heritage Avenue. (look for White Birch Plaza ~ there's a small fire station on the corner on your right). Turn right on Heritage Avenue. Go 1/2 mile ~ we're on the left.
