Bill Harris, New Hampshire Field Manager
My name is Bill Harris, and I’m a beer guy. I've been a beer guy pretty much my whole adult life and it has treated me well. I decided to move to Dover N.H. for a change of pace. Nashua didn’t have much to offer me so I packed my 86 Dodge van (with carpeted benches) and headed east. With no idea what I was going to do, and sleeping in my buddy’s dorm room, I kept hitting the streets trying to find a job. That’s when I hooked up with a local beer distributor and started stocking shelves at grocery stores. This job sucked!!! I stuck with it though and as soon as I turned 21 I was promoted, got a company car. Sad to say...the 86 Dodge had to go. That was about seven years ago and I must say things have changed. I now work for The Smuttynose Brewing Co. and I am proud to say it. I have a son who is absolutely amazing, a nice little place in downtown Dover, and I have had the chance to meet some wonderful people. That is the best thing about this business, the people. That’s the reason I have been doing this as long as I have, and probably will for a long time to come.
