About Towle Farm

The Towle family were among some of the first people to settle here in Hampton, New Hampshire. They started their farm in 1639, and spent generations making Towle Farm a small subsistence farm — often producing just enough for the Towles to live on and barter with, striving and struggling for centuries. It is easy to respect and be inspired by the nine generations of Towles who, like Smuttynose, come from a deep, rich history instilled with the priceless virtue of wholesome hard work. We are proud to call Towle Farm our home, and honor their memory by being masters of our craft while helping to sustain our community and environment.
