Lost Nights in London: Speaking of Crime Podcast with Sarah Cailean

Fri 10 13 @ 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm EDT

Before Whitechapel. Beyond the sooty, spooky streets of Victorian London. Behind the crime scenes of murders long forgotten. For one hundred and thirty-five years the entire world has been captivated and chilled by the monstrous deeds of one shadowy figure. Lurking in alleys, a stranger in the near distance, lit only by gaslight– in every sense of the word. We all know the details, the facts as told to us for more than a century… but what don’t we know? How many murders might he really have committed? Where in the world did his impulses compel him to travel, bringing terror along for the journey? And who was the man we know only as Jack the Ripper?

Join us for a new, unique true crime experience, brought to you as only Sarah Cailean can. We’ll explore decades’ worth of unsolved murders from around the world, examine them with the eyes of an investigator and profiler, and even unravel the stories of new suspects we meet along the way. History, criminology, and a dedicated belief in truly honoring those victims so often mistreated and maligned even after death, all come together for this incredible new event.

Sarah Cailean is a former police officer and detective who’s now an independent consultant for cold case homicides and disappearances, specializing in cases involving serial predators. Sarah is the creator and host of the hit podcast from Discovery ID, Why Can’t We Talk About Amanda’s Mom? She serves as a crime correspondent for HLN, and News Nation’s Cuomo, contributes to numerous true crime podcasts, and produces documentaries about cases she is investigating. In addition to her current work as a special investigator with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Sarah hosts a series of true crime lecture events all over the country.

Venue is outside and first come first serve seating. Guests are also welcome to bring their own blankets and chairs for lawn seating.
