Ryan Williamson

Sun 08 28 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

His grandmother bought him an acoustic guitar when he was in 8th grade and spent most of  his spare time since, teaching himself how to play it. From the time he heard the first few notes of “Ode to Joy” ring out from underneath his fingers, he was hooked.

As a junior in high school, he was talked into playing with a friend at an open mic and felt the rush of being on stage for the first time. After a few more years of writing his own songs and playing them sparingly at open mics and small events, he got over his stage fright and decided to focus more energy and time on music. He started using a loop station in his live shows and songwriting sessions to add layers of guitar, vocals, and percussion that he could manipulate with his feet during live performances to make it sound more like a full band than a solo act. Now he’s playing more than 150 gigs a year in and around New Hampshire and enjoying every second of it!
