It’s Smuttynose’s Smuttlabs sour beer that no one will ever sour on, and it’s back by popular demand. Beginning April 15th, Brett & I will be available in draft exclusively at the Smuttynose Brewing Company tasting room and Hayseed Restaurant, and in bottles in the Smuttynose Brewing Company retail store.

Smuttynose’s Smuttlabs Delivers
Smuttlabs has been cranking out amazing beers of all styles since its first beer as the R&D brewery of Smuttynose Brewing Company. Brett & I is no exception. It’s fermented with Belgian strong ale and Brettanomyces yeasts, and then aged in red wine barrels. All that aging and fermenting gives it pineapple-like aroma, a perfectly balanced sour, earthy flavor, and a satisfying finish.
If you can’t make it to Towle Farm, good news! It could be available at a bar near you! Brett & I will also be available on the Beer Vault, an extension of the Smuttynose brewery-exclusive programs.
